For "Twin Flames," I photographed 100 sets of twins, in honor of my fraternal twin, to explore the concept of twindom through immersive portraits. By using three different film formats, my goal was to create an "intentional phenomenology" through direct image making and examine the shared experiences and cultural significance of twins in our society. This body of work aims to provide a unique perspective on the magic and causality of biology, and the ways in which twins and multiple siblings are viewed across various cultures, both past and present.
